Eric Vermetten

Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) Netherlands

Prof Dr Eric Vermetten, MD, PhD (1961), is a professor of psychiatry at Leiden University Medical Center. He served 20 years as clinical psychiatrist and strategic advisor (COL) of research at the Military Mental Health.

He holds an Adjunct Professorships at the Department Psychiatry of New York UMC, as well as at University of Alberta. He is PI of a new research initiative on the roadmap for medication-assisted psychotherapy in Netherlands and Europe, including use of a variety of psychedelics.
