Tali Nachshoni is a specialist in psychiatry since 1994. She headed the Israeli Defense Forces ambulatory mental health clinic between the years 1996 and 2000 and this included psychotherapy treatment of PTSD soldiers - both reserve and career soldiers. In the years 2000-2001 she did a fellowship in Menninger Hospital, Topeka, Kansas and participated in the tertiary center VA unit for PTSD vets in Topeka, Kansas. In the years 2001-2002, she was a senior psychiatrist in the PTSD unit in the Brill Mental Health Center, and headed the PTSD unit there in 2008.

Apart from 2008, she was a senior psychiatrist in Beer Yaakov Mental Health Hospital between the years 2003 up to today in the closed and open wards (5+years), 11+ years in the partial hospitalization unit and more than 2 years in the complex PTSD ward and eating disorders ward for women. She has been a psychotherapist for MAPS phase 2 trial on MDMA assisted psychotherapy for PTSD, and now the MAPS phase 3 trial for the last 6 years. The last year she has also been the CO-PI of this research study for the Beer Yaakov center. She plans on participating in the psylocibin psychotherapy trial for resistant depression that hopefully will start soon.
